In my opinion Halo had a bigger initial bang when it was released alot of people thought it was the greatest game ever. However if you like fast paced games, COD is the way to go. Though the passed few COD games have been very similar, there's no real reason to change it because they have it down great. Halo is still a great thrill though the single player story is great.
